Auto page refresh to improve functionality

Currently, site refresh is based on the user moving between pages. This is fine for a majority of uses. However, there is lost potential with certain features like messaging; this has the potential to be used in many facets, such as reporting missing students or urgent comms with another member of staff. Without auto refresh, we wouldn't want to risk using messaging services even though it was bought into as a potential replacement for emailing.

    Thanks for the suggestion! We do have automatic refreshing pages in many places, including individual messages, the shop purchases and so on. We'll continue to look at further improvements on a page by page basis, so do feel free to re-submit this suggestion relating to a specific page on the site.
