Better year group colours

The colours used on the charts for the different year groups are quite similar. This required in some schools that have a lot of year groups, but for those that don't we should be able to adjust these colours appropriately.

    HI Ben - I think that is a reasonable work around to ensure a wider spread of colours to represent each year group. Thanks for the suggestion

    Hi there - thank so much for the suggestion! Adding the ability to allow schools to set year group colours is a reasonably significant change, however would it solve the problem you are seeing by having a better spread of colours on the year groups?


    Some schools have up to 18 year groups so the colours are currently quite close together to allow for the full spread, however if you only have 5 year groups for example, this can look a bit strange. We think by picking some more diverse colours for those with a smaller number of year groups we can improve the user experience here, without introducing too much additional complexity.
