Ability to update Total Points and Reward Shop Points for Spending seperately via Data Update Tool

1. Total Points – A cumulative figure that only increases over time, used for certificates, badges, and long-term recognition.

2. Reward Shop Points – A spendable balance that decreases as students make purchases in the reward shop.

Current Limitation:
ePraise currently supports a single points balance, which means schools cannot independently manage these two point values. This creates challenges for schools migrating from other MIS systems or those with reward structures requiring separate balances.

Requested Enhancement:

• Enable schools to import and update two separate point fields for each student:

  • Total Points (non-deductible, cumulative)

  • Reward Shop Points (deductible, spendable)

• Support CSV imports with separate columns for each tally (e.g., Student ID | Total Points | Reward Shop Points).

• Provide UI and API functionality for managing these fields independently.

Why This Matters:

• Many schools want to maintain historical achievement totals while allowing students to spend points without affecting their cumulative record.

• This flexibility is essential for schools migrating from other systems and for those with complex reward programs.
