Feature Request: Ability to Override Activity Clashes to Allow Alternating Club Attendance
Summary
Schools would like the ability for students to attend different clubs on alternating weeks. At present, Epraise does not allow a student to be added to two activities that occur at the same time, even if the intention is for them to alternate attendance. There is no override option for staff to bypass this clash.
Problem
When two clubs clash in the timetable, Epraise prevents staff from enrolling a student in both. Some students wish to attend one club one week and a different club the following week, but the system treats the clash as absolute. As a result, staff must manually unregister and re-register students each week, creating unnecessary administrative work.
Requested Enhancement
Introduce an override option that allows staff to register a student for an activity despite a clash. This would enable alternating attendance between two clubs without weekly manual intervention.
Customer Impact
Schools have indicated that the lack of an override limits flexibility for students with multiple interests and increases workload for staff who manage co-curricular participation.
Hi there! Have you tried the "Allow conflicts" setting? This should allow the students to be signed up to more than one activity - note that this is a per-activity setting though rather than something you'll find in the main site settings view.
